Responsibilities
- Work with game developers, Android Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) and game engines in India and APAC regions to support exciting new product integrations on flagship Android devices.
Optimize AA/AAA game titles, resolve engineering problems with Google technologies and scale the knowledge to improve the overall gaming ecosystem. - Advocate for game developers internally and influence Google developer product strategy by working with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, Public Relations (PR) and other cross-functional teams.
- Drive regular, engineering-focused workshops and meetings with developers to optimize the gaming experience and resolve technical problems at a scale of millions of users.
Eligibility
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with game development in established development tools or custom game engines using C,C++, or C#.
- Experience in game development or developer relations.
- Experience in system performance analysis.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Android tooling such as RenderDoc, Perfetto, Frame Pacing API, SurfaceFlinger, GFXReconstruct and Android GPU Inspector.
- Experience coding in low level Graphics/GPU with DirectX12, Vulkan or Metal.
