Responsibilities

·         Manage and administer internal databases and undertake DBA activities

·         Develop, document, and maintain support processes, procedures and solutions

·         Share knowledge and best practices

·         Assist and support other areas of the business to meet business demands

·         Implement and embrace new processes

·         Scheduled delivery of reports and other solutions to meet customer needs

·         Work in line with internal control and governance practice

·         Awareness and understanding of business impact of data controls and criticality on operations for any related failures

·         Resolution of incidents to ensure timely fixes and tactical improvements to all internal systems

·         Support the internal infrastructure to provide accurate & timely data from core systems

·         Support front-end dashboards to enable operations to utilize them for decision-making and analysis

·         Development of improvements to internal systems, processes, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

·         Graduation Degree or equivalent level qualification

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

·         Excellent T-SQL scripting skills

·         Development and support of Microsoft SQL Server Databases using the full SQL Server stack (i.e SSRS, SSIS).

·         Experience and knowledge of building and maintaining Relational Database Management Systems

·         Experience of other languages / systems would be an advantage e.g. Oracle, Microsoft .NET, scripting, PowerShell
