The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is recruiting 11 posts for Research Fellowship (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) under the Ministry of Defense . The vacancies for the said post will be on a Contractual basis. Eligible and interested candidates can apply offline only by downloading the application form from the DRDO official website (see official pdf below). DRDO was formed in 1958 from the amalgamation of the then already functioning Technical Development Establishment (TDEs) of the Indian Army and the Directorate of Technical Development & Production (DTDP) with the Defense Science Organization (DSO). DRDO was then a small organisation with 10 establishments or laboratories. Over the years, it has grown multi-directionally in terms of the variety of subject disciplines, number of laboratories, achievements and stature.
Today, DRDO is a network of around 41 laboratories and 05 DRDO Young Scientist Laboratories (DYSLs) which are deeply engaged in developing defense technologies covering various disciplines, like aeronautics, armaments, electronics, combat vehicles, engineering systems, instrumentation, missiles, advanced computing and simulation, special materials, naval systems, life sciences, training, information systems and agriculture. Several major projects for the development of missiles, armaments, light combat aircrafts, radars, electronic warfare systems etc. are on hand and significant achievements have already been made in several such technologies.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Candidates have to apply in the prescribed form through Offline mode only. Interested and eligible candidates can apply offline mode for the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) application. Applicants should send their complete application by post to the following address: Director DIPR, Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi-110054 The envelope must be superscribed with “Application for the post of __________ against.” It is essential to note that no other means or mode of application will be accepted. The application must reach the specified address on or before 21 Days. SALARY :- Rs. 37,000/- P.M. 1 and 2™ year. Rs. 42,000/ – p.m. 3 Year if retained as JRF. Rs. 67,000/- P.M. during the entire tenure . ( RA )

Who Can Apply
Education Qualification :
(i) Research Fellowship (JRF).
- Candidate must have passed Post Graduate in Psychology Applied Psychology (Specialization in Organization Behaviour/ Social Psychology/ Personality Assessment) with first division and NET qualification.
- Age Limit – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 28 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form.

(ii) Research Associate (RA)-

- Candidate must have Passed a Post Graduate in Psychology.
Age Limit – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 35 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form.
Age Relaxation: (Relaxable by 5 Years for SC/ ST & 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India orders)

Round 1
