Applied R&D (AR) consists of target-oriented research either with the goal of solving a particular problem / answering a specific question or for multi-discipline design, development, and implementation of hardware, software, and systems including maintenance support. Supplies techno-economic consulting to clients. AR work is characterised by its detailed and complex nature in order to systematically combine existing knowledge and practices to further developing and incrementally improving products, operational processes, and customer-specific feature development.

Subfamily Description

Information Design (IFD) comprises the design, planning, coordination, writing, and illustrating of technical customer documentation and user guides in R&D product and system programmes. Contains planning, developing, writing, and editing of operational and maintenance information about products, systems, and solutions. These appear as web-based publications for internal and external users; sometimes including Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) and various forms of multi-media.

RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITY :-

  • Understand and analyze product features to develop user-centric documentation
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to gather and validate information
  • Work with a diverse international team of writers and subject matter experts
  • Apply relevant technical documentation practices to conceptualize, design and develop required information products
  • Ensure quality in terms of content, standards and presentation
  • Participate in document design, process and delivery innovations

Who Can Apply

REQUIRED SKILLS

SKILLS :-

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in Engineering or Science or Technical Writing.
  • Proven ability to author and deliver documentation for Telecom products.
  • Knowledge of structured authoring. Experience with XML-based authoring preferred.
  • Analytical thinking, Creativity in problem solving, Assertiveness & Self-confidence.
  • Knowledge of Networking and communication skills in multi-site environment.
  • Flair for authoring accurate and simplified technical information.
  • Well organized, committed and quality oriented team player.
  • Eloquence in writing and communicating in English.
  • A sense of ownership and commitment to quality and timeliness.
