Autodesk is looking for Software Engineers to join our software engineering team in our Digital Employee Experience (dEX) team in Bangalore, India. As part of the Employee Experience Partner Platforms, this team leverages Software Engineering and DevOps principles to optimize the company’s business critical systems and processes through building re-usable platforms that enrich and improve overall Autodesk employee experience. The ideal candidate will have full-stack development experience using cloud-based technologies, with working experience in delivering web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver full-stack, high-value, cloud-based  experiences
  • Communicate effectively with team members and across teams
  • Participate in an agile-based development practice delivering value at high velocity
  • Collaborate with team leaders to define, implement and ensure best practices
  • Ensure full-stack software solutions are developed using industry-leading DevOps best practices and technologies
  • Provide operational support for existing applications

 

Who Can Apply

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0-2 Years of Software Development Experience in a fast paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other equivalent experience in software development/IT
  • Experience in developing full-stack, web-technology solutions utilizing: Vue.Js, Node.js, Java or JavaScript/TypeScript, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively promote ideas and collaborate across teams
  • Detail-oriented with respect to software development process, communication and documentation
  • Capable of performing requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent hands-on experience with many following technologies: Java, NodeJS, React Native, VueJS, DynamoDB, AWS RDS, AWS S3, AWS API Gateway
  • AWS Certification – Developer
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira and Service Now
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology
