Job Description:

The Engineering Support role is a crucial position within the Customer Support department, providing technical assistance and support to engineers and other technical team members. The role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment. The Engineering Support professional will contribute to the success of engineering issues raised in the product and thereby assist with troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and coordination tasks. Your expertise in drone technology and your excellent communication skills will be essential to delivering top-notch support and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to service engineers and Drone Operators by troubleshooting issues, conducting root cause analysis (non-Conformity), and recommending solutions. Assist with the implementation and integration of engineering systems and tools.

• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including engineering specifications, test procedures, user manuals, and other relevant documentation. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for the engineering team.

• Testing and Validation: Collaborate with service engineers in conducting flight testing and validation activities for active client products, and engineering solutions. Assist in flight test plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and documenting findings.

• Coordination and Communication: Act as a liaison between engineering teams, cross-functional departments, and external stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure smooth customer service execution and timely resolution of issues.

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the engineering function and contribute to the implementation of best practices. Propose and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity in engineering processes.

• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions or workshops to educate engineering team members on new technologies, tools, or processes. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by documenting lessons learned and promoting information exchange.

• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in identifying potential safety hazards and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risks.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and experience in drone technology, including operation, software, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding support.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using customer support software and tools.
  • Previous experience in customer support or technical support is a plus.
